Tony Rutgers1

Tony has lived in Aspen for 40 years and he founded Rutgers Construction, Inc. in 1988. During his time in Aspen, he has successfully constructed over 70 projects and taught even more to ski during his time as a ski instructor on both Aspen and Buttermilk. He is married to Diane and lives in Woody Creek.

Chris Morrow1

Chris joined Rutgers Construction in 2008 as a project manager and was promoted in 2017 to Chief Operating Officer and Owner. Chris has 24 years of general contracting experience in the Roaring Fork Valley. Chris is responsible for generating overseeing all projects, budgeting and value engineering, schedules, managing subcontractors & supplies, and contracts.

Heimata is Tony's son. Heimata joined the family business in 2016 to assist with management responsibilities including special projects, business strategy, human resources, implementation of new technologies and client relations. He joins the business from Oracle Corporation, and holds a certificate in Real Estate Finance & Development from MIT, and an degree in Energy Finance from Tulane University.

The financial process and organization begins and ends with Carol. As Rutgers Construction's CFO since 1989, Carol will make sure every cent is accounted for. On time and on budget is a key tenant of our company. She provides all clients with clean, and accurate progress payments.

James joined Rutgers in 2016 to help oversee and implement new technology initiatives and Project Management. James is responsible for budgeting and value engineering, schedules, managing subcontractors & supplies, and contracts.

Brendan has extensive experience in design and construction management; including the procurement, tendering and delivery of major infrastructure, land development and high-end residential projects. With a diverse portfolio of experience across many sectors and contract delivery methods, he is a confident and capable leader. He has effective people management and organizational skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of construction methodology, contract management, programming, and reporting.
